It all started Thursday night at best whip. DEFT family member Todd Potter brought home the gold for the second year in a row. After watching Potter gain the glory and throwin up the LA glove every time a camera was near we headed over to the New Era/DC party at the Standard Hotel (thanks to Courtney from New Era for the hook-up!).
Friday night was best trick with our man Potter taking another X Games medal home. Another celebration had us hopping over to the Fantasy Factory for the Monster party, which was probably the dopest party ever (thanks to Monster)!
Saturday finally came with SX-Mens, SX-Womens, and FMX finals. It was Christain Craig’s pro debut, and the kid didn’t disappoint, finishing 3rd in the heat race and 8th in the main. Hats off to Tarah Geiger who came in to place 6th overall in the Womens SX final, her first race back from a broken wrist. FMX finals came out with a new jam format, and Patchy went out and threw it down taking home the bronze. Shout out to New Era, DC, Monster, and SkullCandy for all the hook-ups and support!
Thanks to everyone out there supporting DEFT, it was awesome to see everyone together and all the hard work pay off! PEACE EVERYONE!
