Any of you that check this blog weekley you know that I slacked last weekend, and im sorry for that…….it’s been crazy over here at DEFT! Anyway the last 2 weekends (Atlanta, Tampa) of the nuclear cowyboyz tour have been pretty good. Although Atlanta was a little hectic, I guess it snows maybe once or twice a year in ATL and it just so happened to be on the weekend we were all coming to town. I guess the 2 inches of snow was enough to shut down the Atlanta airport! And a few of the guys ended up not even making it to the show.

I know Ive said this after some of the other weekends, but I think last weekend in Tampa, fl was our best show on tour thus far…Every part of the show was close to perfect! Hopefully that made up for our mistakes in ATL…haha. We were also missing twitch for a couple weeks due to the birth of his newborn baby girl! So it was good to have him back on tour in Tampa, and Congrats to him and his wife Susan!!

Having an event at Lucas oil stadium in Indianapolis on the same weekend as the superbowl you would think it would be a bust and indy fans would be more worried about getting there superbowl parties prepared perfectly and there would be nobody to fill the stands when the nuclear cowboyz come to town. Ill be the first to admit that it was my first thought heading to Indy, and im sure it was in the back of the minds of some of the other cast and riders as well; but the event actually turned out great! Indy fans packed the stadium on Saturday night turning the weekend into a success! Thanks Indy, you all were great!! It’s cool to see this tour doing well and the best part about it as and athlete is putting a smile on fmx fans through out America!

I was also good to see Deft Family’s Nate Adams back on tour as well. Nate hadn’t ridin fmx for a couple months while he was training/riding supercross and it impressed me the way he came back to fmx and looked as good as always doing all of his tricks no problem! Here are a few shots from the weekend, I didn’t get as many as I would like to share with yall but it will do….

So last week I posted a blog about how the show in dallas was the best stop so far on the nuclear cowboys tour, well…..I take that back after this weekend in Houston. We got to ride in Reliant Stadium where the Houston Texans play!! And we finally got to ride on Dirt again! I havn’t rode on dirt for over a month! It was nice to feel some bumps, get some wheel spin, and get roosted again! My favorite part about Houston was getting to check out the Texans practice field! Im a big football fan so I was like a kid in a candy store running around on the field! Its crazy how excited I get over a grass field..haha.

It seems like every week just gets better and better! I think everyone is getting there job dialed in which is nice….were basicly on auto pilot now, its good to know all that rehearsing we did is paying off! Im really excited to go to Indy this weekend for a couple reasons. First, the floor will be dirt again! And second, the Colts are in the superbowl so im thinking the town of indy will be ready to get Crazy!! I hope so anyway…. we will see if Indy can out do Houston! Till next week, Peace out J

So it's been a couple weeks since the last update because things have been wide open over here and we couldn't be happier about it! One year ago this whole thing was just an idea between friends wanting do do something fun and different and now we have a warehouse full of product, orders keep coming in daily and the family keeps growing! It's so rad to see it all happen, thank you all for sticking behind us and supporting the vision. On another note last sunday we all rolled out to Paris Raceway for the Rossi Ride day, an event put on to raise money for Ross Maeda and project walk. For those of you who have never had the chance to meet Ross he is one of the nicest down to earth guys in the industry. The turn out was insane, there were soooooo many people there to support Ross it really just showed how many people he's had an impact on... So cool! Nate, Potter and many other top FMX guys came out to put on a freestyle demo and spin some laps aswell. It was also awesome to see Bubb's step out of the car around 10am with a wool flannel on and CL in hand looking like a mini Dad ready to get to work. The ride day was a huge success for Rossi and all the money collected that day will be used to help attend Project Walk. Peep a couple pics from the day below thanks to Browndog Wilson (Chris Ganz), till next time PEACE!
