<![CDATA[DEFT FAMILY News]]> http://www.deftfamily.com/blog/ Sun, 05 Feb 2012 16:17:10 +0000 Zend_Feed http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/tech/rss <![CDATA[PRE XGAMES UPDATE!]]> http://www.deftfamily.com/blog/PRE-XGAMES-UPDATE/ Whats Happenin everyone!?!?  Sorry its been a while since we have been able to update you guys, we have been crazy busy getting everything ready for XGAMES as well as our New 2012 line that will be dropping in November!!!!  We couldn't be more happy with our new line for 2012, and im pretty sure all you guys will be stoked too!  We have also added a few guys to the Family including Robbie Maddison and Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg!  

 

Here is a list of our Athletes competing at Xgames 17 that will be rockin the new 2012 line so be sure to watch and root em on!!

Nate Adams, Travis Pastrana, Mike Mason, Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg, Robbie Maddison, Todd Potter, Kendall Norman, and Taylor Robert.

We also recently shot an Ad featuring our Colab glove with DC shoes that is in the July issue of Transworld motocross,  attached is a video we shot during the photoshoot so you can see what goes on "behind the scenes"!

We have had an overwhelming response to the 2011 line and it's taken up all our time just to keep up with all the orders coming through! haha LUVIN IT! With that said it has pushed back a few things... In a couple weeks we will be droppin the revised site, adding all our new athletes and the next wave of 2011 GLOVES! The FAM is growing everyday, we couldnt be happier with our current line up and our BMX team is lookin so solid aswell! Kevin Robinson, Ryan Nyquist, Ben Houcke, TJ Ellis, Andy Buckworth, Mike Day and Anthony Napolitan just to name a few! Also this month we will be adding some tee's and crew neck sweatshirts to the site. Really wanna thank all of you who continue to support what were trying to do and know that this wouldn't be possible without all of you! Were going to continue to put everything we have into this and we can't wait to see whats next!!

So December is here and almost gone already but we are excited to announce the release of our first four colorways in the ALL NEW CATALYST 2!!! We will be releasing more in the following months including the most anticipated 'DC Shoes'  colab glove! 

We recently had the family out to the house to shoot all our 2011 team and product and the day was great, we have the dopest crew in action sports no doubt! Check out the new revised site dropping at the beginning of Jan. with all our athletes, bios and photos! 

To say that this year went how we expected is a huge understatement! We had no idea we would get the response we did and we just want to thank you all so much for making a fun idea turn into a powerful brand! Also want to thank the supporters in the industry, our friends, families, and athletes for believing in something that didn't even exist a year ago! Vurb Crew members Ryan Walters and Jason Macalpine loaded up with Tyler Bereman in California Monday morning and started driving Eastbound for the Vurb Classic this weekend in Bremen, GA.  Thanks to the Deft Family and DC Shoes, Tyler and crew are able to make the hike nearly 3000 miles to a race that is quickly becoming a household staple in amateur motocross.

They aren't missing out, and neither should you.  THIS WEEKEND, the VURB CLASSIC, BREMEN, GA.

Its been a crazy couple of weeks but things just keep getting better over here at DEFT, wanna shout all our X games athletes for doing an awesome job at this summers X Games... Bringing home 6 medals to ad to the collection! Nate Adams, Todd Potter, Travis Pastrana, Taka Higashino, and Tarah Gieger all with medals and Myles Richmond, Ryan Nyquist, Kevin Robinson, Beau Bamburg, and Mike Mason with great rides aswell! From X Games is was straight onto Loretta Lynn's for the amateur national where our two am athletes Tyler Bereman and Chris Plouffe absolutely killed it bringing home there FIRST LL Tittles!!!! As well as DEFT's FIRST LL Tittles! Great job boys!!!

And last but not least we headed out to the Toyota Surfercross for one of the funnest events of the year! LD, Foster and Giegsy came out rockin the new line of catalyst 2 gloves wich will drop this holiday season!  Peep some of the pics below from our boy Carlos Aguirre at motography.org! Thanks again for all the love and support its going to be another amazing year in 2011!!!!!
